For this, his second series of concerts at Sands, bassist Simon Woolf turns his attention to compositions by the jazz greats, some of whom in the course of a long and varied career he has had the pleasure of accompanying. The Pianists will be celebrated on Friday 21st June by Andy Panayi – saxes; Mark Nightingale – trombone; Joe Dessauer – drums
Friday 13th September Simon together with Olly Wilby – tenor sax; Matyas Geyer – piano; Joe Edwards – drums will be playing tunes by Double-bassists
